Juratek are one of Europe’s leading aftermarket suppliers of commercial vehicle  brakes pads and accessories for trucks, trailers and psv applications.

OEC1 Friction Material
 

Juratek OEC1 material which we have developed to deliver a service performance fully competitive with the main Original Equipment (OE) products in use today.   

            

Manufactured using the latest production techniques and controlled to the highest International quality standards including TS 16949, Juratek OEC1 delivers superior pad and disc life over a wide range of operating temperatures and duty cycles when compared with OE products with no sacrifice in brake performance - all of which has been confirmed by independent dynamometer tests carried out on our behalf by “Brake Testing International Ltd” here in the UK comparing Juratek OEC1 with Jurid 539 & Textar T3050.

OEC2 Friction Material

 Manufactured using the latest production techniques and controlled to the highest International quality standards including TS 16949, Juratek OEC2 delivers superior pad and disc life over a wide range of operating temperatures and duty cycles when compared with Jurid (539 material) & Textar (T3050 material).

 

When compared with Original Equipment pads from Jurid (539 material) & Textar (T3050 material), Juratek OEC2 has a longer life overall with a greater advantage at the heavy duty level and a particular advantage at the highest temperature range 600º - 700ºC.

Rapid Bed-in Coating 

When a new pad is fitted the surface contact is initially quite poor, as disc and pad surfaces are never totally smooth. Once the brake pad has been bedded in the surface of the pad and the disc will match. This usually takes several hundred km to achieve. The Bed-in coating on Juratek pads ensures a maximum surface contact is achieved almost immediately thus avoiding the need to bed in the pads.*   

    

ECE90 Approved Friction Material

All heavy commercial vehicle brake pads are approved to Regulation 90 (ECE90). In addition all light commercial vehicle references are approved to ECE90 where required.*

Juratek, the CV Brake specialists, recently launched two new brake pads to replace seven references which equate to over 25% of European applications giving stockists major benefits and savings.
 
Both pad types are fully R90 homologized and ECE90 compliant and are certified to have similar wear and in-service durability characteristics comparable to the OEM product.
 
The two pad designs are available in both organic "OEC1" or "OEC2" material. Juratek recommend that the plus material is used for all standard truck and trailer applications, and the premier plus material be used for all heavy duty truck, trailer and bus applications.
